This picture is without any street names. The following one has some major
streets and areas. Guess where Scenic Drive and Irvin are and then look at the
next map. Bet you were off farther than you thought you would be.
This second picture is with some street names. Note that Mountain View is the
area bounded by Hondo Pass, Diana, and Fred Wilson. What amazes me is the green
in that part of town in this rendering, yet last time I drove around there, I
don't remember hardly any trees, shrubbery, or grass.
This is the Irvin area map with street names for those of you that don't
remember.
The Irvin Homecoming parade usually
starts on Sanders, take a right on Roanoke, a right on Joe Herrera, go to the
old Northgate Center and back to Sanders. The outstanding Irvin Ex of the year
usually rides in the parade with the Homecoming Court, etc.
