Lew & Lida Shasteen (both Tintype) - Lew_and_Lida Shasteen.jpg
Kathleen called several people in Ohio and spoke to a Martha Rittinger that actually lives in Yellow Bud (owns a lot of Shasteen property) which she said there is no longer an actual town.  She has Lewis Clark Shasteen listed and he had a sister named Lida!  Based on that and a bit of snooping around we believe these two to be Lewis Clark (Louis in some census') Shasteen b 22 Jan 1842 in Ross C m Sarah Elizabeth Hockingberry 3 Jan 1878 b 16 Dec 1854.
Apparently Elizabeth's nickname was Lyde whch people pronounced Lida.
Estimating Lew at 35 puts the photo circa 1877. Estimating Lida at 25 puts the photo circa 1879.

William Henry Harrison Shasteen b 1841 est age here at 45, est photo 1886
I believe the Emma Minear is the "Emala A." listed with her sister, Nancy Minear in the 1850 census.  Birth year should be 1847.  My grandmother had written Emma Thurston Minear or Emma Minear--Walter's aunt on those two pictures of her and that would make sense.- - Kathleen Sanderson Ross.
Estimating her age at 25 dates the photo circa 1872
